Sun blanches the soul

Searching for seashells along the seashore

The passions are lost with age, yet sweet beneath a glance

Time washing out the colors of my coat

To horizon points north, to roam

"how far?" goes the chorus

"how far do we have to go?" goes me

I think I'd rather not care to know

No matter the presentation

To see is sorrow

And sorrow sees much more than I

 

This morn I will write you letters sealed in tears

With drawing of cages and animals extinct

Mailed from the farthest parts of here

Where my remains hope unashamed

and storms collide just beneath the eyes

태양은 영혼을  태우며

해변의 조개더미 속으로  들어가고

싱그러운  열정은  이내

년윤과 함께

눈 깜작할 사이에  영원한 나락으로 빠져든다

나는 세월에 찌든 낡은 외투를 입고 

수평선 끝 저  북녘을  배회하며

"얼마나 먼가?" 소리치다가

"얼마나 더 가야 한단말인가?" 되뇌어 본다

 

구태여 알 필요가 있으랴

아무런 문제도 없는게야

어떠한  연출도 알고 보면  슬프고

슬픔은  슬픔으로 나를 더욱 슬프게 하지

 

이 아침

나의  존재가 부끄럽지 않기를 희망하는 여기

눈 아래로는 폭풍이 몰아치는 곳

이 극지에서 

멸절해 버린 어느 동물과 새 둥지를 그리며

눈물젖은 편지를 너에게 쓴다.
